FLASH .... 1-12-11 ..... if you have been checking on us ... FYI .... we are VERY close to re-opening for a short time only.... I am trying to retire..... will do updates and new data to enable sell off of remaining stock ....Updating has begun 1-12-11 It has been a long road back from a stroke. Alas, we're back and open for business again. While this site still needs a whole lot of detail (pics & text) to be added .... the ordering parts have been updated. You can now click on the buttons to actually buy stuff from us! Reminder you do not have to use a Paypal account during checkout .... that is just a processor we use. When you go to "check-out" you will have a screen to enter details to make payment in any way you prefer.
Due mainly to gas prices and Kennel Clubs raising their Vendor booth space costs ...... we have NO plans to bring our booth to any shows.
Info notes to appear here when it's this page's turn and is ready for proper formatting: If you purchased from us before, what you will find different now: We're adjusting our prices! We used to have a single price for all vests and a price for a dress etc etc. Henceforth NEW prices will be calculated on our actual cost to produce each item. The costs for fabrics and buttons and stuff can vary widely. We'll also calculate actual sewing time involved with each item (Our garments require a lot of stitching - not like the cheap stuff that has a seam up the side, a single elastic seam for waistband and a hem - that's it!) ...... There will also must be a difference for the "plus" sizes as they do take more fabric. (Not fair that an XSmall pay same amount as a 2X) New prices will be based solely on our time and materials to produce each item. The result is that most item prices are dropping ! ! ! !
We have canceled our 800 phone number. Too many calls were either prank calls, wrong numbers or telemarketing solicitations. We decided that the cost to maintain it be better used for other projects. Almost all of our customers use email or see us at the shows. If you do need to phone us, LEAVE A MESSAGE - we'll phone you back on our other 'free' lines.
Similar to the 800# cost cutting ..... we will no longer print catalogs. THIS is it, you're looking at it, our on-line catalog. It is simply too expensive to print brochures that are outdated and incomplete almost before the ink dries. Here on-line, we can add new items and discontinue others as fast as we can type in the info at hugely lower expense. The more we can keep our overhead down, the lower our clothing prices can be :>) ....... [We have mortgage payments and dog food to buy just like you do]
The number of buttons on the dresses have increased so are closer together to prevent 'gapping' on some body styles. And we've widened the upper arm of short sleeve, especially on our plus sizes. Long sleeves can still be special ordered but all Dresses, Blouses and Blazers are currently being produced in the short sleeve. We've created the short sleeve Blazer. (webmaster task = insert picture here) We've widened the amount of ease in the sleeves of the Boleros. Better to reach and bend down in ! A size 3X is being developed cuz YOU demanded it :>) And, a Jr.Miss (0?) for all those Junior Handlers that our XSmall just hangs on 'em .....
